The Centaur is a "protomech", halfway between powered armour and a standard Battlemech. The pilots are quite literally plugged into the machines, and the designs for protomechs are the most heavily anthropomorphic of any technology in Mechwarrior/Battletech.

I reversed the legs on this design as an aesthetic consideration. Dark Phoenix did most of the texture work.
